Sales Director

Salary - €100K-€150K + Bonuses 

 

SUMMARY

This role requires a seasoned Sales Director – with an instinctive and hands on approach to the role. This is a pivotal forward-facing role within the executive management team. The role has a clear focus on delivering impressive sales and profit results through comprehensive marketing, sales, and brand planning, backed up by innovative product development. The successful candidate will combine a strong drive for commercial success and achieving business goals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Development and implementation of the marketing strategy with a focus on brand building, propositions, and communication.
  2. Development and implementation of the sales target to increase share and drive business growth.
  3. Drive the sales and representative teams to achieve the companies sales and profit targets.
  4. Develop markets and products.
  5. Direct financial control for, and line management of operational portfolio.
  6. To proactively drive and shape the company vision and direction as a Board Member.
  7. Maintain constant communication with the customers throughout ensuring the companies image is kept at the highest level.
  8. Record and present the quarterly costs and margins to the Managing Director
  9. Create and identify improvement processes for better sales and customer handling.
  10. Other duties as assigned.

 

 

   

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Proven track record in sales delivery and team management.
  2. Experience in the Control Valve market essential.
  3. Ability to implement plans either their own or others.
  4. Results oriented and delivery focused.
  5. International business development and knowledge of the markets, customers and competitors.
  6. Strong leadership skills

Sales Project Engineer

SUMMARY

Provide written quotations to customers ensuring technically competent and correct solutions are offered and priced in line with the company’s margin criteria. Managing the enquiry to order placement and through to end delivery by project managing the whole process.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Respond to customers in a prompt and professional manner.

2. Evaluate and prepare quotations based on customers requirements.

3. Work with the outside sales force to plan and deliver the correct solution.

4. Maintain and update the company database for sales enquiries/quotations.

5. Manage the order through defining and monitoring the project scope, goals, and deliverables throughout the project.

6. Coordination with the factory to ensure correct and on time shipments are kept on track.

7. Maintain constant communication with the customers throughout the life of the project.

8. Record and present the final project costs and margins.

9. Create and identify improvement processes for better project management.

10. Other duties as assigned.
